After the creation of a new, more classical and urbane, line in 2018 with the Epurato (read more about here), now it is the turn of the Nautilo, the famous diver’s watch to adopt softer curves. Still maintaining its technical performances, the Vintage version is available in a new diameter of 42mm, coming with a blue dial, a colour that has always dressed the Anonimo dials.

Nearly 15 years after the first appearance of the famous diver’s watch, conceived by the naval engineer Dino Zei, the Nautilo has lost none of its charisma. Recognisable by its screwed crown unusually situated at 4 o’clock, which is ideal for maximum comfort, this vintage version Nautilo shows the potential of the collection, which, with the 2019 edition, can be both powerful and sporting or elegant and classical.

A remodeled dial, in sunshine blue and endowed with railway-style indexes, can be clearly seen through the convex sapphire crystal with its anti-reflection treatment. There is an echo of the traditional triangular reading where the appliques at 12, 4 and 8 o’clock have the double batons and all the markers are coated in Super-LumiNova. The unidirectional bezel equips the Vintage model with a blue ceramic insert that protects the watch from scratches and adds depth and brilliance to overall esthetics of this model in steel, worn with a brown calf leather strap.

Water resistant to 200m, this Vintage comes with the traditional Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, with the date located at 6 o’clock. With its 42mm case, the Nautilo Vintage has shown that it has the ability to evolve, in all simplicity, so that the “instrument watch” of 2006 becomes a watch for pleasure today.
