Mido Baroncelli Midnight Blue (Specifications and Price)
With the new Baroncelli Midnight Blue, Mido honours its watchmaking heritage in its most timeless form. Presented as a pair, this model follows the great tradition of the Baroncelli range. Measuring 29 or 38 mm in diameter, the elegant round case in rose gold PVD-treated polished steel reveals a magnificent sunray satin-finished midnight blue dial. The twelve diamonds encircling the dial add unique sparkle to the women’s version of the Baroncelli Midnight Blue, like twelve glittering points accentuating the intensity of this mysterious blue colour.
The two charmingly chic and understated models come with a brown semi-matt crocodile-look strap in genuine cow leather, with a folding clasp in rose gold PVD-treated steel. Fitted with latest-generation automatic movements, these Baroncelli Midnight Blue models are perfectly suited to any couple wishing to celebrate their union with two timelessly elegant timepieces.
The Rennes Opera House is an operatic landmark characterised by its distinctive rounded architecture. The harmonious lines and subtle curves, typical of the neoclassical tradition, make it a particularly outstanding monument. The sophisticated forms of the Baroncelli collection pay tribute to the timeless elegance of this building. The collection, which epitomises Mido's watchmaking expertise, celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2016.
The two new Baroncelli Midnight Blue models are the ultimate expression of the timeless elegance that only traditional watches can offer. Designed as a pair for all couples wishing to celebrate the strength of their union, these two timepieces honour Mido’s watchmaking heritage in its most timeless form. In rose gold PVD-treated polished steel, their slender round cases – measuring 29 mm in diameter for the women's model and 38 mm in diameter for the men's model – reveal a magnificent sunray satin-finished midnight blue dial.
Twelve diamonds, totalling 0.078 carats, encircle the dial of the women’s version to add unique sparkle, like twelve glittering points accentuating the intensity of its mysterious hue. The dauphine-shaped hour and minute hands are faceted. The date, meanwhile, is displayed in an aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock.
The superb dial of the Mido Baroncelli Midnight Blue sits beneath a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The women's model features an automatic movement with a power reserve of up to 38 hours, while the men's model houses the best technology currently available: the Caliber 80 is an automatic movement that provides the Baroncelli Midnight Blue with up to 80 hours of power reserve.
Finely decorated with an oscillating weight adorned with Geneva stripes and the Mido logo, these movements can be admired through the transparent case back. The Baroncelli Midnight Blue is water-resistant up to a pressure of 5 bars (50 m / 165 ft).
The brown semi-matt crocodile-look strap in genuine cow leather provides the final touch of sophistication to this discreetly chic and alluring model. It is fitted with a folding clasp in rose gold PVD-treated steel.
The Baroncelli Midnight Blue is also available as an all-steel pair.
